Maturity Group VII (relative maturity 7.8),
glyphosate-tolerant, Roundup ReadyĆ variety with purple
flowers, tawny pubescence, and tan pod walls. It averages
the same day in maturity as Haskell. It has yellow seeds
with shiny seed coats and black hila. USG 7732nRR is
adapted to both early and late planting in Georgias
Coastal Plain |
and Piedmont
regions. It is similar to the conventional
variety Haskell in agronomic performance, seed
composition, and pest resistances. USG 7732nRR possesses
resistance to southern root-knot nematode, peanut
root-knot nematode, Javanese root-knot nematode, and stem
canker. USG 7732nRR is susceptible to reniform and
soybean cyst nematode. |
USG 7732nRR was
developed by the Soybean
Improvement Center at the University of Georgia
Agricultural Experiment Station in Athens GA. Monsanto
Corporation holds the patent on the RR trait. USG 7732nRR
is a protected soybean variety that can only be produced
by license agreement with UniSouth Genetics, Inc., which
has obtained exclusive production and marketing rights
from the Georgia Seed Development Commission (GSCD) under
guidelines established inconjunction with the University
of Georgia Research Foundation (UGARF). |
